Best Pillow for Allergies – Top Pick
The Snuggle-Pedic Ultra Luxury Bamboo shredded memory foam pillow is rich in features. Not only dust mite resistant but also keeps it shape. Let’s examine this quality pillow in more details.
Wow this is a heavy feeling pillow. It arrived rolled up somewhat flat. The instructions said to put it into the dryer to fluff.
I was a little skeptical when I first unboxed it thinking how could this flatten pillow every fluff up. I imagined myself folding this thing in half to make it comfortable to lay on.
However once it emerged from the dryer it did indeed look the the pillow that was advertised. It is one of those products that has the look and feel of quality material and construction.
After pulling from the dryer I was heading for the bed to try this thing out. My head snuggled down into the memory foam some and gave excellent support to my head and neck.
I have two reasons for purchasing this pillow, one being my allergies and two was the need for a quality pillow for my neck.
This biggest selling point to this pillow for me was during this test I actually feel asleep. This in its self is a full review of this pillow as far as comfort goes.
The pillow firmness is adjustable by removing or adding the memory foam material. The company offers this adjustment free of charge.
Some of their pillows including the one in this review comes with extra bag of fill for self adjustments.
Hypoallergenic & Dust Mite Resistant
Hypoallergenic was the main feature I was looking at to help with my allergies. Snuggle-Pedic uses a proprietary shredded foam that is inherently dust mite resistant.
The company also uses toxin free materials in their pillow construction, which was another plus for me.
After a few weeks I have no complaints of allergy symptoms. Now that is only one opinion however, I did heavy research and read over plenty of reviews prior to purchasing.
There is a large population of people using this pillow for allergy purposes with great reviews I found during my research.
This pillow has received rave reviews from an allergy and comfort perspective and in my opinion is an easy purchasing decision.

I understand that sometimes the best choice is not in your budget so I always dig deep in researching to ensure I find a good budget pick as well.
Next section below is the budget pick for best pillow for allergies.
It did take some extra research to come up with a budget pillow that met the allergy features that I would be looking for in a pillow.
The Dream Rite pillow is a good budget pick for some looking for a hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant features.
This pillow is comfortable to lay on and molded to my head and neck. I was surprised at the level of comfort for this price level.
It did come with extra fill to adjust the firmness of the pillow. I like a thinner pillow and believe or not I had enough extra fill to make another pillow if I wanted.
The cover of the pillow was okay but not as soft as the Snuggle-Pedic. I didn’t get hot using this pillow so the cooling feature they claim works.
The pillow cover is washable and that is okay for my allergies I plan on washing this on a regular basis.
My biggest concern with this pillow is the zipper as it appears to be of a much lower quality. Now that didn’t cause any immediate issues.
But again I plan on washing my pillow frequently so I could see the zipper giving me problems, but wouldn’t know for sure until I used it for a long period of time.
Seeing the pillow only has a one year warranty almost tells me that the zipper won’t last. Bottom line if you can’t spring for the Snuggle-Pedic then this might be your choice.
My advice save up and buy the Snuggle-Pedic with a 20 year warranty you won’t be buying another pillow anytime soon.
Dream Rite - Pros & Cons
- Cooling Feature
- Dust Mite resistant

My Final Advice
I always like to try and find a budget pick that will help people when they are tight on money. In this case I think you should save you money up to buy the top pick.
Look at the difference between these two pillows. One give you a 120 days to try it out risk free. On top of that a 20-year warranty.
The other pillow company offers you neither of these features and only gives you a 1-year warranty. Which pillow do you think will last longer?
