The only downside I've realized is that it's really heavy. I'd recommend keeping the bag it comes in and using that to carry the pillow if you want to travel with it.

It's Heavy
Yes it carries some serious weight. As heavy as rock? NO. But 10.2 lbs for a standard size pillow is not what some people are looking for.
If you like to move your pillows quite often, this might not be the right option for you.

A lot of potential buyers including some of my friends got turned off because of its size.
There is a whole lot of buyers who would prefer a king size or queen size at-least.
By the way, I wasn't bothered by the size of the pillow as I don't move around during my sleep and then its not a big issue compared to the benefit this pillow offers.
Hard
Some people may find it hard on their neck while others may not.
While that is not true in my case, some people woke up with sore ear after using for a couple of days.

I wanted to come back and update this purple pillow review as it has been awhile since the last review. Now that I have more personal information from friends and family members that have purchased this pillow and been using for over a year.
I interviewed these people in this purple pillow review by asking them them the same two questions and ask for their responses.
The first question asked was "in your words tell me what you love about this pillow". The second question was "tell me in your own words what you dislike about the pillow".
Support:
The overwhelming comments about the support this pillow gives your head and neck makes a real difference in sleeping comfort.
Two of them have neck issues and said the pillows helped them sleep better with improvements with stiffness of a morning.
I also received a majority of comments on neck support on side and back sleeping.
Dislikes:
The biggest complaint about the pillow was that is was heavy. I ask how that effects the functionality and most stated it doesn't, just harder to move around when making the bed of a morning.
Also when traveling is a little more difficult when carrying this heavy pillow. Now the majority of my friends and family I asked are over the age of 50 years old.
None of them wanted to give up this pillow as the comfort out weighs the bulk of the pillow - pun intended.
